Telecine, or ‘TK’ for short, is the process whereby a photochemical film frame is converted to a digital signal for editing on or offline in a editing package such as Avid, Da Vinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro etc. erehwon has a 1080 pixel HD scanner which can convert 8mm, Super 8, 9.5mm, and 16mm to .mov files.
